Absolutely delicious. I can see why they’ve been in business for so long. The service was excellent. Greeted right at the door. They have outdoor sitting on both sides of the restaurant. (If dining alone, they have you sit at the counter) The pastrami was sliced perfectly thin and was 🔥. THE BREAD……PILLOW SOFT. I mean perfect meat to bread ratio. The half size was huge and more than enough for me. the chili cheese fries with onions were damn near perfect. Fries were crispy, and chili was tasty. Reminds of home. (Eastcoast) Staff were super nice. There was a bit of commotion with a customer HOWEVER the staff (or us customers) were not phased at all. Would recommend this place. 10/10

Gigi is absolutely amazing. We sat outside, and Gigi came over with a great attitude and charm. She took our drink and meal order, and before we knew she was cracking jokes with our drink order. A few minutes later, Gigi brought our piping hot pastrami sandwich, and our order of crispy onion rings. The onion rings are rispy on the outside and sweet and tender in the inside. I highly recommend Johnnie’s Pastrami.

Actually, it’s my first time ever going to this Johnnie’s location and I’m quite pleased. My daughter and I went late afternoon today, a Saturday, and found parking quickly. Thought it would be crowded but walked inside and were greeted immediately and informed to seat ourselves wherever we wanted. We had the chance to peruse the menu and our orders were taken in a prompt manor. We were given a small dish of the infamous pickles to snack on first and I must say they were crlsp, fresh, crunchy and delicious. Even my daughter who doesn’t care for pickles tasted a small bite and said they were good. Then our food also came out very quickly. We were able to get served and eat, without rushing, all in an hour. We both ordered the hot pastrami sandwiches with American Cheese, an order of fries to share, a lemonade for me and a root beer float for my daughter. They put a great about of meat in the sandwiches, certainly not being stingy, which was wonderful. We both could only eat half of our sandwiches, which the other half will definitely be a treat later. The lemonade wasn’t all watered down and had lots of flavor. We’re very pleased and most definitely will return.
